Sharona D’Ornellas, Founder

Sharona D’Ornellas is a multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur originally from Toronto, Canada now residing in Los Angeles, California. She is the Co-Founder of Visapaq and current CEO. Her career has taken her abroad landing her in cities like  London, New York City, and Los Angeles. She is a a proud first generation Canadian, mixed race of Caribbean descent.

As an artist Sharona has had the pleasure of performing on Broadway stages in the TONY award winning production of “In The Heights” with Lin Manuel Miranda and GHOST The Musical. Some of her other performing credits include the Kennedy Center Honors for the Rita Moreno tribute, The Love Guru, campaigns for Adidas and APPLE, Late Late show with James Corden, The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Canadian Opera Company and numerous other television, film and stage roles. 

As an arts educator she has taught theater and dance across Canada, the United States, Australia and China as well as master classes and curriculum for Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada) and Calarts (Los Angeles, CA). 

Sharona continues to create via her stand up comedy and writing sharing stages with comedy greats including Jay Leno and Affion Crockett. She continues to focus her writing on the diverse experiences people of color have, exposing new perspectives to audiences through comedy. Her goal remains to enrich each viewers understanding of the world and the multi-faceted people in it.  

 

Warren Adams, Founder

Warren Adams is a South African born Artist living in New York City. He is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Black Theatre Coalition.

He is the:

- Choreographer of the Bebe Winans Broadway bound musical BORN FOR THIS.

- Writer/Director of RACE AGAINST TIME, a new musical in collaboration with Composer/Lyricist Michael Ogborn.

- Writer/Director of the new hip hop musical THE MEASURE OF A MAN in collaboration with Composer/Lyricist Ronve O'Daniel

Past Projects include: MOTOWN THE MUSICAL (Broadway, US Tours, West End) He recently Directed Brandon Victor Dixon's AMERICAN SONG BOOK at LINCOLN CENTER, Directed the film AFRICA STRAIGHT UP, and choreographed the Off-Broadway plays ALL THE NATALIE PORTMANS, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE, OROONOKO AND RUINED.

Other notable credits include the opera MAGDALENA in Paris at the Theatre Du Chatelet, Disney’s TOY STORY THE MUSICAL and Nora Ephron’s last film JULIE AND JULIA.

In 2019 he was appointed to the Tony Nominating Committee. Other notable awards include the Tony Award for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH (Co-Producer). He won the NAACP and the Fred Astaire Award's for his choreographic work on Motown. He was selected as the first MANDELA SAINSBURY SCHOLAR (South Africa to London) and the first RUDOLF NUREYEV AWARD winner in Europe.

He co-founded the production company WalkRunFly with Brandon Victor Dixon and they co-produced HEDWIG and OF MICE AND MEN on Broadway. They are adapting Terry McMillan's New York Times Bestseller WAITING TO EXHALE for the stage and Leah Henderson’s children’s book THE MAGIC OF CHANGING YOUR STARS for screen and stage. WalkRunFly's is currently in Production in Los Angeles for their First Feature Film.

Adams has served as an Adjunct Professor at both Princeton University and NYU in the drama departments.

He co-founded VisaPaq with Sharona D'Ornella's, a portfolio company that has successfully obtained over 300 working visas for international immigrant artists wanting to work in the USA.
